Biography
Peter has extensive experience in imaging and analysis for both Scanning Electron Microscopy and Raman Spectroscopy of a wide range of materials. Peter has collaborated with the TAH group on a great variety of technical art history projects which at present include Painted Banners, Anselm Kiefer and the Reynolds Project.
Peter received a BSc in Geology from the University of Glasgow and a MPhil in Applied Geology from the University of Strathclyde, where he researched silver mineralisation in Scotland. In 2007 he was appointed Microanalyst in the School of Geographical Science and now manages ISAAC, Imaging Spectroscopy and Analysis Centre, a state of the art analytical facility. The facility was established in 2010 to serve multidisciplinary research within Glasgow and beyond.
